I'm holding my 15th Annual Leather Tea Party at Baycon Saturday night, at the Hyatt Regency - Santa Clara Convention Center., starting at 8 p.m. Please feel free to come by - call me if you are interested, 650-483-1740, and I can give you the room number.
It will be an interesting mix of folks, mainly a social party - with actual tea, properly served - some kinky, some poly, some het, some bi, some gay, some curious, some just random Silicon Valley science fiction convention techno-geeks who think the theme of the party is cool. It's an entry point into the BDSM/poly/alternative universe for a lot of the people who attend this party, and I provide a lot of free informational brochures that people can use to explore things that they might be interested in. I usually have a demo of something safe around 11:30 p.m. (something that a clueless newbie couldn't hurt themselves doing if they tried to imitate it at home), close the doors for the demo, and then open them again afterward.
